Long time no see, I am sorry it has been so long! I have been super busy, between the kids being sick, reorganising the house and giving birth things have been a little hectic! LOL
That's right, I had my baby! Only about 14 weeks ago! LOL I had a little girl, Makenzie Paige, who was born on May 11th, 2007 at 1:51pm She is just beautiful, such an easy baby! She was born after a great labour, only 4 hours from start to finish (I will post a birth story in my next post I promise ) and has been putting on weight well, no signs of reflux, sleeping pretty good... for a baby and is just a gem. She was born weighing 8 pound 81/2oz, 38cm head circ. and she was... hhmmm, I can't remember how long she was! LOL I *think* she was 53cm but have to check my book! LOL
In other news, the other week I got an email from the "Smile with Centro" to say I had made it through to the finals of the competition! Out of 37,000 entries I made it to the top (roughly) 1000! I will find out on the 24th if I have won the local finals, there are 20 finalist chosen from each centre and the winner out of those 20 wins a camera and printer package. The national winner wins $10,000 but I don't expect to win that! I am so proud to have made it that far, the photo is up at the centre and after the display is over I get to keep the block mounted photo
This is the photo that got through
I just did Hamish's enrollment into kindy I am so not ready for him to grow up yet! He will always be my baby i think, even though I have another baby now he is always going to be my baby! LOL He has also started Kindadance at childcare and we are looking into him starting a sport, probably soccer or rugby if Steve gets his way! LOL
HHMMM, what else do I have to report... I had to give up my office I decided it would be too squishy with the three kids in one room so have moved Makenzie into the office and the computer and desk from the office into the kids room. We have done her room in the Kidsline Gossamer Dreams range and it is just gorgeous it makes me sigh with pleasure (Much to Steve's amusement I am now just waiting on the quilt set to get here and a lampshade to be put up and it will be done When it is totally done I will take a pic and post it.
It is my birthday in a few weeks I can't believe I will be 27! In my mind I am 19 still! LOL I often wonder what is wrong with the adults in my world for letting me be responsible for 3 children and a house by myself! I am not old enough for that kind of responsibility! LOL I don't have anything planned for it, Steve is at work so it will probably be just like every other day.
I have been on the GDUNH this month and have been having lots of fun and frustration trying to find that elusive icon but I have managed to find most of them, I have got enough for the grand prize and have got a few new nappies and thing in the meantime When they all arrive I will post pics of them on Makenzie. I am also trying to learn how to knit, I have found a pattern to make a soaker so it has given me motavation to relearn properly. Naydene know how to knit and mum knows how to crochet so between the two of them I think I can do it
Makenzie is cryiong so better run!
