Welcome to my life!

1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before? Went into labour and gave birth by myself without the use of Syntocin.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Yup, last years resomlution was to not make a resolution which I kept! LOL Maybe this year I should reslove to write in my blog more than last year! LOL

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Besides me, one friend Fiona had a baby girl Amelia on December 4th :D

4. Did anyone close to you die? Nope

5. What countries did you visit? None, unless Busselton is another country! LOL

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007? More sleep! LOL

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? May 11th, Makenzie was born.


8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Definitely giving birth and surviving the first 6 months without a husband for 2/3rd of the time.

9. What was your biggest failure? I guess not keeping an even temper all the time with the kids.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Nope, just some SPD during pregnnacy and a couple of colds.

11. What was the best thing you bought? Definitely have to say MCN's! I couldn't name just one brand though 'cause I love 'em all! LOL

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Jessie and Hamish, Jessie for all the new things she has done and learnt this year including learning the flute moving to Level 5 in swimming and getting Honors in Ballet. Hamish for growing from a baby to a boy :D

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? No one's really, although I am pretty close to that with my mum's family, some of their behacoir in the last year has been pretty close to appalling.

14. Where did most of your money go? The devine Miss M and her delicious bottom :P

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Too many things to name because this year has been pretty full but probably the most exciting was Makenzie's arrival.

16. What song will always remind you of 2007? Let Them Be Little by Billy Dean, I have found myself singing it when I get impatient or expect more from the children than I should.


17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? Probably about even, I am having good days and bad days these days so overall possibly a little sadder but I am finding more delight in the little things now.
b) thinner or fatter?Fatter, only just though. Last year I was losing weight when I was pregnant and I have put a couple of kgs back on but wiegh less than before I was pregnant! LOL
c) richer or poorer? Richer, Steve has had a couple of pay rises and we actually have savings these days!

18. What do you wish you’d done more of? Sewing

20. How did you spend Christmas? Quietly, happily, lovingly.

21. Did you fall in love in 2007? Yes, with Miss M.

22. What was your favorite TV program? Didn't really have one.

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? I don't hate anyone, but I do not have a moment of time for my mum's sister, mother and their lot any more.

24.What was the best book you read? HHHMMM, maybe the final book of the Ellie Cronicles. Should have been the final Harry Potter but I still haven't read it!

25. What was your greatest musical discovery? HHMMM, another toughy... Snow Patrol I think.

26. What did you want and get? A happy healthy baby

27. What did you want and not get? A baby who knows how to sleep! LOL

28. What was your favorite film of this year? HP and the Order of the Phoenix

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 27, I didn't really do anything.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? I guess getting the house we put an offer in on in October, it was perfect and was disappointing to not get it but I am glad we get to stay in this neighbourhood all the same.

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007? I wouldn't! LOL First half was maternity second half was post-maternity! LOL

32. What kept you sane? More to the point, who? The answer would be Steve.

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? No one that I can think of.

34. What political issue stirred you the most? Nothing really.

36. Who was the best new person you met? Definitely Makenzie
