Almost Ikea'ed out!

After my 4th trip to Ikea in 9 days I am almost having an Ikea OD! LOL We were there for 4 hours today, my head is so sore now, all that thinking and planning and calculating! We have finished getting everything we need for the laundry though, we also got a shelf unit for the bathroom and have mapped out what we want for the Toy room as well as a few other bits and pieces so it was definitely a productive trip today but now my house looks like an Ikea dumping ground with boxes in every available space and items that have been put together but their home isn't ready yet litter all the other spaces not to mention screwdrivers, hammers and bits of wood and all the other paraphernalia associated with flat-pack funiture building. Ah, it's a hard life! LOL
The kids (Hamish and Makenzie, Jessie was with mum 'cause she had flute today) were both really good, the other night when we were there (Trip #3) we let Jess and Hamish go in the playland but I was not keen on Hamish going in by himself but he managed the 4 hours walking around so well, we had to talk to him a couple of times but overall he was a star! Miss M was too, she sat in the trolley the whole time and only came out for a feed at lunchtime and then when we had to wait for the big stuff to be bought from out the back but she didn't cry or anything, just sat happily! Obviously everyone in my house wants to live at Ikea with me! LOL
In other news, I am STILL trying to find a dress for Miss M's birthday! I have found "the one" but all the places I have contacted about it are either out of stock or are holding out on me! LOL I found one place on EBay and when I contacted her she said keep an eye out I will list one by the end of the month. So now I am having a small panic that I won't be able to get one before the big day... not too big of a deal since I have cupcake overalls but the plan is to have the cupcake dress as an "entrance" outfit and then change into the overalls so the dress doesn't get ruined while we are eating, everything else is going smoothly so I am sure it will be fine, I just hate not being prepared when it comes to things like that. Still not sure on what to do for a cake, Nayd spoke to Irene from the Bakery and Mick will do uniced cupcakes for me but I am trying to find a stand that I like and need to decide how I am going to ice them... it's all to hard after a week of Ikea! LOL

Better run, I have fried rice from dinner the other night beeping at me and am going to sit down to watch Music and Lyrics now :D Steve is at the rugby so I can get away with a girly! LOL
