My new Vegie Patch... and a dirty little chick :P

My New Vegie Patch... Strawberries at the top
of the picture and herbs at the bottom

The herb portion of the patch AKA Steve's bit :P

The Thai Chilli Plant (Which Jessie read as Thigh Chilli! LOL)

Just another random garden shot :D

So hooray! My Aforementioned Veggie Patch is up and running :D Steve and I have been working on it for the last... almost week I think and finally today we have everything bar the fruit trees and the Pansies (I know they aren't veggies! LOL) planted :D It was so much fun (And hard work) we were going to put it down the back where there is already a patch cleared but then I remembered how our last patch was eaten by the dog so we have put it in one of the front garden beds. It was so overgrown though with this crap vine stuff from next door so it took a day to clear then we had bad weather and the weekend

Makenzie the "good" helper! LOL

I love dirt THIS much!!!

HHHMMMMM, what else can I get into :P

My new Black Pansy

Aren't they pretty!

was taken up by the Wedding and Mother's Day/ Makenzie's birthday so it leaves us with today. It all looks good and in no time at all we are going to have veggies... especially Cabbage (We got 4 punnets, with 8 plants in each) and cauliflower and LOTS of strawberries but according to MIL we won't get Tomatoes out of the plants we planted till next year :rolls eyes: typical! LOL Oh well! LOL

The other thing I have is Black Pansies, they are beautiful! I am not a flower lover when you talk about the in ground variety, in a vase they are fine but I don't care much for pretty gardens and things, they serve no purpose but I couldn't go past a black flower! They are way cool, one of them has purple edges but the other is a really BLACK black :D

Makenzie had a ball outside, as you can see from the pictures, she pulled the flowers of one of the Pansies but I blame Steve for that one since he left her right in front of it! LOL She found the biggest puddle and splashed in that (At the bottom of the driveway where all the dirt was collecting! LOL) until Steve moved her again... right next to the leaking hose! He was then surprised when she covered herself in water! LOL Ahhhh well, as Jessie said "That's what washing machines are for!"

Anyway, DH is telling me I need to play Wii games with him so I am off for the night :D
