Flashback Friday!!!

So I was going through my old photos on the desktop computer this morning and figured today (Being Friday and all) is a good day to start Flashback Friday! The furtherest (Is that even a word?! LOL Oh, maybe it is Furthest... nope that's still doewn't look right so never mind! LOL) my computer photos go back is to my pregnancy with Jessie, so 2000 - 2001 way back when I was young, innocent and definitely knew it all :P But then don't we all know everything about life at 20/21?! LOL

So, here is the first set of photos in my flashbacks....

Me and Steve, at 38 weeks pregnant, at my baby shower. I thought I was so huge with Jessie, if only I knew then how much more my stomach can stretch with a boy baby! LOL

The day after Jessie was born, our first family photo... 'scuse the bags under my eyes (Although I don't think they have left that site since that day! LOL) Jessie's first few days of life were.... noisy! I honestly thought I had given birth to the spawn of Satan, in those first few days Jessie definitely let us know she was alive! She scream from dusk till dawn as soon as I tried to put her in the hospital bassinet she would scream and scream until I picked her up again and after many hours of trying on the second night I buzzed the nurse to try and help me and she took Jessie to the nursery and I went back to my room and cried (Quietly since it was a shared room! LOL) and felt like a complete failure, I just wanted to get my baby into the bassinette and instead she got taken away :*(

I know this is going to sound awfully biased but I don't think I have ever seen a baby as beautiful as Jessie was when she was born, not even my other two were as stunning as her. I remember staring (Okay, I know that is the wrong spelling but I am tired! LOL Oh... spell check!!!) at her in the morning after she was born and wondering how on earth I had managed to produce such a beautiful baby... and then she screamed again :P

This was one of those screaming moments :P

Meeting her great pop for the first time :D Look at the matching expressions, can you tell they are related :P Jessie was the first grandchild and great child on my mums side and the first grandchild on Steve's parents side so she was adored by everyone, maybe that's where her love of people comes from! LOL
Cuddles with Nana!
As much of a horror as Jessie was in the hospital she was the complete opposite when we got home (And has pretty much been ever since) the first night we were home she slept for 6 hours straight in her cradle and aside from some terribly sore boobs (First time feeding and all that joy) which was healed as soon as someone told me about Lansinoh, it has been a joy since day one... I mean since day 4 to parent Jessie!
