Photo catch up

Just a bit of a photo catch up today, I am working on my house but got bored so am here instead! LOL

So anyways, first off is the kids new wardrobe. We used the same system as the laundry and it came up pretty well. Steve had to paint the walls in there becuase they were unfinished, just the bare plaster on half the walls and apricot on the other half. I sent him off with a basic idea of what I wanted, either dark blue or red/burgandy and he came back with the perfect colour. I was a bit scared at first that it would be too brown but it is just lovely and with the silver of the shelves and fittings it looks great.

Makenzie's side, I have plans on organising the hanging with dresses on one side and pants etc. on the other but I have lots more things to do before that becomes a priority! LOL Down the bottom is her bags and shoes and on the left is the drawers.

Makenzie's drawers front on. I had to do pictures on each of the drawers so the kids and Steve all know where everything belongs, Hamish is learning to read and can recognise quite a few of the words but still needs pictures to help. Be glad I didn't do close ups though, I may have a creative streak but am far from an artist! LOL

This is looking in the wardrobe door. Makenzie's hanging stuff is the three racks at the top and Hamish's is the one down the bottom. Hamish doesn't have as many hanging clothes, being a boy he has a few shirts and jackets but Makenzie needs most of the hanging space.

Hamish's side of the wardrobe, look at all his shoes, see it is not just Makenzie that I buy too much for :P

Okay, these next photos were taken on the same day as the wardrobe photos. We were finishing off the wardrobe and moving the kids room around and Hamishs drums were about to be dismantles so we could move them out but Makenzie decided she needed to have a go first. She did all the dressing and accesorising herself so don't blame me ;) At least the glasses and clip match right?! LOL

Last but not least, these are photos I took last week at Lil's, the weather was perfect and with 5 acres to wander I got some great empty backgrounds. I wish we had a space like this that I could just wander out of my own house to!

Practicing a pose! LOL

Not sure what was up with this face but she did it a lot in the photos I took! LOL

Okay, the big kids and Steve are home from school so back to the grindstone...
