Just a little bit of fluff...

So, the last few days I have been wandering aimlessly around the WWW following links from one blog to another, one website to another and I have bookmarked so many places it might take me a year to get through them all but I thought tonight might be a good night to share my favourites....
As you can see from the opening letter, one of my very new faves is Daily Drop Cap the owner, Jessica Hische  is adding a new Drop cap (The fancy letter at the start of the blog post) each day and they are just gorgeous! Expect to see more in posts to follow, I can see a new addiction starting!

I am all about the laughs when it comes to weird and wacky websites, especially in the last few months when I have not been able to do much. I have a list of places I regularly visit when I have a few minutes to spare: Cakewrecks, People of Walmart, Lamebook just to name a few, and in the last hour I have stumbled across two more total-waste-of-time worthy sites: Item Not As Described and Emails From Crazy People. I can't help but giggle at some of the entries, it is amazing how........different some peoples thinking is! LOL
Another one I found (If you haven't noticed the button) is Blog This, it is a place for Aussie bloggers "who want to have a little fun, make some new bloggy friends and gain a little exposure for their blogs." When I followed the link from here over there I instantly felt inspired to join, the challenges really make you think and there are so many interesting bloggers that I had to jump on board. Now I am trying to think up something old to photograph (Don't worry mum, it won't be you :P ) before Wednesday because it is such a great challenge I don't want to miss out but since I only found Blog This yesterday it is short notice to think up something, especially given the brokenness of my brain right now! LOL So, stay tuned to see if I get in in time!

The last one before I go to watch Armageddon with Steve (Who is currently at the shop buying me an ice-cream, what a sweety huh?!) is Common Sense Media, such a brilliant idea! It is a website that provides ratings for all kinds of movies, websites, books, music, games and TV and gives detailed descriptions one why it may not be appropriate for certain age groups. It is such a helpful reference to have, Steve and I often differ on what's appropriate for the chillens, so it is great to have an independent site to go to!

Anyways, Steve is driving back in the driveway so I am off to enjoy my ice-cream and movie! Hope I have provided some entertainment for the night :P
