I found a picture on my phone from before I went into surgery and took some more tonight after the staples came out. not the best since they are all from my phone but they do the job! LOL I have to get Steve to take some better picture of my head, it is hard to take picture of your own head huh?! LOL
This is before the surgery, with my lifesavers on.
Kind of hard to see but you get the picture! LOL I can't wait till tomorrow night when I can wash my hair properly, Steve said you can't really see the iodine on my head but it is still nasty!
My neck, the lighter coloured bit above the cut is the tube under my skin! It is so weird, you can feel it all the way down my neck and on my chest!
My stomach, it is hard to tell where this is, it is about 2cm below my boobs, right in the middle.
I can't remember if I said yesterday or not, all together I got 29 staples: 12 on my head, 12 on my stomach and 5 on my neck! Had them all pulled out today, not as bad as I had been imagining so that was a relief!!! Dr. K is happy with how I am healing, it all looks good :)
Off to Dr. Lockabie again in 2 weeks to check how the papilloedma is going. I started having black outs in my eyes again today and my neck hurt last night so fingers and toes are crossed right now that it was just a bad day and not indicative of more surgery being needed!
Anyways, that's all for tonight, if I ever get better pics of my head I will be back :)
