I know, I know! I said I would be back soon and I promise I will be...I am just not sure how soon! LOL
Quick life update:
Have got the ball rolling (YES, again!) to put our house on the market, we have found a great house which really suits us, completely unexpectedly, so we are hoping to get the house on the market the next time Steve is home so we can put in an offer :)
V, my Psych, is absolutely fantastic. I could sing her praises all day, honestly, she is amazing! I spend the first 10 minutes of each session "not" crying and then she tells me it's okay and it all comes out! LOL I am starting to feel pretty good, the house is getting organised, I am actually feeling pretty positive (Whether that is V, the AD's or my favourite friend who has time to listen whenever I need her or a combo of all 3) There are still things that get me down but she is really helping me to "get over" it. Funnily enough though, it's not till I am there and she starts digging that I realise things that are bothering me. It all bogs me down so it is nice to get it out :)
Kids went back to school last Monday AND Makenzie started one day a week childcare (Otherwise know to her as "school") on Wednesday! That was a huge step for me, I have always said she wouldn't go to childcare but she almost made the decision for me, she is so ready for something outside of home. To the point that I am thinking about increasing to two days a week!
School has gone well for the big kids, Hamish has had a bit of adjusting but is getting there. He is not used to having to work rather than playing all the time like in Pre-Primary so we had a few days of tears when he got home but he is doing well. Jess has settled in to Year 4 really well, she turns 9 next Tuesday (Wow, talk about making me feel old! LOL) and seems to be making some good friends and is enjoying her new class and her new teacher :)
Steve is actually helping out around the house and doing things without me having to ask/nag at him so that is a huge step too. He is slowly getting excited about the "new" house, it is in an area he is not in love with but we think it is a compromise worth making because the house is so perfect. Fingers and toes are all crossed it works out, we are clearing almost everything out of the house to make it look bigger for sale and we are really hoping it works out this time.
As for me, not much to report, I have an ultrasound on Wednesday because I have a lump on my scalp near my shunt and it really hurts so we need to check and make sure it isn't anything serious. When I saw V the other day she asked what I have planned for Makenzie's day at school and I told her I plan on catching up on sleep the first few week but the funny thing is, for the first 4 weeks I have doctor's appointments every Wednesday! So I still have a few more weeks of waiting before the catch up can happen! LOL
Anyways, better run, I have a mountain of washing that need folding and packing so need to get to that :)
Will be back one time with photos from Adventure World and now also the first day of school! LOL
