What a week, honestly! I am spending the weekend totally relaxing before I have to pack in earnest but it would be nice to just stop this ride so I can get off an breath for a minute. It is all so exciting and wonderful, life is finally rising again but it is just a little overwhelming...
Anyways, here is where we are up to...
Rang bank v. early Thursday morning to be told "Nope sorry, no can do" Shite, back up bank was called and was told "You need to find another $8000 for us to take you on" so agent was rung (Not rang as I originally wrote! LOL) and told we needed the buyers to up their offer by $5000, MIL was rung and asked to loan $3000 and away we went :)
So, then a mad day of up and down followed with phone calls coming thick and fast over all things house related ending with an almost relaxed dinner with the family and Shelby and two glasses of Vodka and coke (YES, I drank! YES, head hurt muchly this morning, YES, I am blaming it on the Chiari and overworking not the Alcohol :P) and a good old natter with the best friend a girl could ask for :)
This morning started at 3am when I couldn't get back to sleep, after going to sleep at midnight last night. Back up bank was called and pre-approval received so now I just need to get a couple of documents and we are good to go :)
All the kids were home today, Jessie woke at 5:30am with a sore throat so with throbbing head it was agreed we would have the day off and then Hamish said he had a sore throat too so I didn't feel so guilty about not sending him to school.
So, that is the daily wrap up, all the official papers have been signed, the "under offer" sticker is on our sign (And hopefully the new house too :) ) now it is only the tiny step of collecting papers (That I am sure I have stashed somewhere) and getting final approval from the bank and we are in the new house! It has all happened so quick but it obviously is meant to be (At least that's what they all tell me!) so once I get back to feeling good I will be out of this world excited :)
