I know it's been more than a week sine I last posted but it is crazy stations around here and I have only just started my meds again so getting there a little slower than I should have!
Okay, time for a huge update!
Firstly, we sold our house and finance came through yesterday so settlement should be around the 17th of this month. We lost the other house (Can't remember if I posted about it) so we had a think and on Easter weekend went looking at display homes and found one, with only a little tweaking to be done, and well within our budget so the decision has been made to build :D We go and see the bank tomorrow as we have already found a block so want to get pre-approved before we put in an offer on it but that also comes way under budget so we are super excited.
Here is the floor plan of the house, if you click it it should make it bigger :)
To make the whole thing even sweeter, the people who bought our house are investors and they have agreed to let us rent back the house until our new one is built so it means we only have to move once and there will less disruptions for the kids. Everything has worked out so perfectly, i couldn't ask for it to go any better so fingers crossed we have the same results with the build!
In other news, Hamish is turning 6 on Monday! Can you believe it? I started this blog right before Hamish turned 2, it is hard to believe so much time has passed since then!!! We are having a "Totally Gross" party on Saturday (01/05) for him and his school friends, he is so excited about it! We are having a nose shaped pinata with green strings hanging out like snot, dirty toilet centrepieces, "barf bag" lolly bags and cockroaches that crawl on the windows. That is just a small sample of stuff, honestly it is totally gross but he thinks it is fantastic so that's all that matter...right?! LOL
We are then having Makenzie's 3rd birthday party on the 16th (YES, I am crazy!!!) it is a Charlie and Lola inspired party so there will be lots of pink milk and biscuits for that one. It is going to be a family and friends party so that way everyone can see both kids for their birthdays but don't have to come to both parties (Less catering for me to do that way too :P ) It is so hard to think in 2 weeks time I will have a 3,6 and 9 year old! Scary stuff! It is kind of weird too, this is the first 3rd birthday party we have done (We always do 1st and 3rd parties) where I am not either pregnant or just had a baby. Stupid brain ruined my perfect age gaps! LOL
HHHMMMM, what else? Jessie is doing good, she has just stopped flute (Can't remember if I posted about it) and started piano lessons and is doing really well with it. She is picking it up heaps quicker than her other instruments and she told me the other day she thinks she has found "her instrument" :) She has started writing her own song too, she showed her music teacher last week and Sam decided it was good enough for her to work on for the end of year concert! So it has been a good few weeks for her!

I am doing good, been seeing the Chiro 3 days a week, not loving it at all, I come home with a headache every time but I am am still going in the hope that long-term I will get improvements.
Steve is also well, he is plodding along with his work; it is extra money, getting his promotion, but it is also a lot more headaches so he has been a bit more stressed out than normal. His band is going well, every time he is home they get together and he is really happy with the drummer, they are meshing well and have similar styles as each other so it is all good...I just have to keep working on convincing him to get a new singer and they will be off :)
Oh, in other news, at the end of May I am going to start studying! I am doing my Bachelor of Education (Primary) so am uber pleased! I am a little nervous too though, I haven't worked in a "real" job for almost 10 years (Will be 10 in August) and it is 13 years since I graduated from high school so getting back into study mode will be a big adjustment I think. Nayd is also doing it with me so it will be good to have someone there to spur me on and spur on someone else in return. The good thing is it is all external so I can work it around the kids and Steve so it works out really well. I did have my heart set on midwifery but this will work for the family better and I am happy enough to do it :)
Think that is about all, as you can see it is super busy! Hopefully, now I am back on meds for good (Even set a reminder on my phone to go off each morning so I really remember!) I should be more energetic and positive so it should mean I will be back here more often...maybe even with photos!!!
