Good news and bad news

We had Hamish's barium tests today and we have good news and bad news.

Good news is he doesn't have Intestinal Malrotation.

Bad news is... he doesn't have Intestinal Malrotation.

We thought we were getting to the bottom of the issues so while it is excellent news that his intestines are fine, it puts us right back at the drawing board again, trying to figure out what is wrong.

He was so good though, he had to drink a cup of crap that looked like paster of paris, they flavoured it with chocolate syrup but he said it didn't taste very chocolatey! LOL He then lay on a bad while they took x-rays, both sides and then his front, and then he had a glass of water. It was over with in 1/2 hour which is so much better than the 4 hours we had been expecting! LOL The tech ran me through everything and said it all looks clear, everything is working the way it should. He then got a sticker and 2 lolly snakes so his day was made :P

So now, we are back to the doctor so she can confirm results and will take it from there, probably the next thing will be allergy testing but we will wait and see what she says.

So in all a good day but frustrating too, while I don't want him to ahve to go through surgery or anything it would have been nice to have a simple answer.

Anyways, I am off to spend time with the kiddos :)
