Don't try this at home...

We went swimming today at the local pools, we had such lovely weather and had an absolute ball. The kids came home tired and wet and i came home with a frizz ball for hair but it was all good... until a few hours ago when Jessie's back started going red, my nose started stinging and Steve said his back was sore.

Turns out, that warning they put on suncream bottles about applying it at least 1/2 hour before going in the water is there for a reason! Oops! Thankfully, it's not too bad, By the time Jess was going to bed her back had dulled a lot and was cooling down and my nose feels okay but considering only a week ago Mum found out she had a skin cancer on her face you would think we would learn! We even discussed it when we got there, I said "You know, you are supposed to put this on 1/2 hour before going into water" and mum and Steve both went "yeah" and we all kind of shrugged and went on our way, bloody dopes huh! I am blaming my stupidity this week on the leftover remnants of drugs from the surgery, I have a tube in my brain after all, that's gotta mess with cleverness right?! And I have a cold too, so I think I will handball all of the blame onto Steve and mum (It was mum's suncream so it is half her fault! LOL) since I am not in my right mind now! hehehe

Photos will follow of the day but am feeling like crap tonight with a monster headache so am going to try and sleep...although, Steve is "watching" the rugby while playing Dawn of War both of which are up as loud as they go pretty much so I worry if I sleep now I will have nightmares about all the hot Rugby players being gunned down by futuristic machine guns... mmmmm, might need to steal the remote! LOL

When I have a headache it messes with my cleverness. You have a much better reason than I do. Or maybe I'm just not as smart as I thought I was! LOL.

I hope the sunburn is better today.

I have no reason..just stupidness for my babies slight pink tinge after an arvo in the park on Saturday. (I could blame his aversion to wearing hats or not staying in the shade, but it seems wrong to blame a 16 month old :p) .
