Ringing in my ears...

Makenzie shared her cold with me so nicely and I ended up having to go to the doctor the other day because my ear, despite not hurting much, was leaking fluid and blood so I was a bit worried. Doc had a poke around and said it was possibly perforated although she couldn't see a tear it was very red and mucky so I am on AB's... am still waiting for them to start working.... but a side affect of the whole episode is horrible ringing in my ear :(
I normally have a bit of ringing, probably thanks to too many songs played through headphones at full pelt as a teenager, but now it is overwhelmingly loud, it means I can't talk on the phone in that ear, and the kids have to talk to me on the other side to be heard properly! I am hoping it will die down as the ear heals but it is bloody annoying in the mean time! LOL
Aside from that, my world is wonderful :D Makenzie went to sleep tonight with only a little bit of crying in my arms and no boobs so I am crossing my fingers that we have an okay night, last night whe only woke 3 times so let's send those vibes to her again tonight! LOL
