What the?!

I have just been checking out Super Amart's website as the first store in WA has just opened in Osbourne Park, they seemed to have really good prices on the ads I have seen so wanted to see if is worth taking a trip out there at some stage or just wait till the one in Cannington has finished being built...
Well, I looked at the bedrooms, dining settings, hurried past the lounge room stuff (since I didn't want to see better deals than I just paid) and landed in Outdoor where THIS chair was found...


The title says "SQUATTERS Chair" (Yup, all caps and everything!) and while this pic in my blog doesn't show it well, click on the link to get a good close up because WTF?! Why do you need a chair with built in...wood...what?! Is it to assist in the "SQUATTING" or is it some kind of new birthing chair, with built in foot rests.... I am dumbstruck, I just don't get what the point of it is, the wood is too narrow to be a handy dandy drinks tray but it hangs out to far to just be decoration and over all it is just wrong!
If you have any clue about the reasoning behind this chair I would love input because I am confuzzled!!!
