Hold the phone...

For the first time in her 18 months {Yes, she is 18 months today :O } My baby girl Miss Makenzie Paige SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She went down at 8pm and woke once briefly at 10:30pm when I was at her window saying goodbye to Nayd, I laid her back down and told her night night and off she went till 6:30am this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have been working on her sleeping in the last few weeks, it was hard to start with as we had to resort to controlled comforting then when that didn't work we tried crying it out, it broke my heart to hear her crying but when I went in to her she would scream even more so we had to just leave her to it :( After a couple of nights, the crying dropped significantly, the first night was around 1/2 hour and by the third night we were down to 2 minutes of whinging and by night #4 she was going straight down with a kiss and a cuddle and then no crying!
So, we got the going down sorted and then had to work on the overnight wakes which obviously because I was, like, sleeping it was harder to stay strong rather than just taking her into bed like usual but Steve was there to help out when I was too tired, luckily!
About a week ago we got her down to one wake over night and she was being patted back to sleep in about 5 minutes and gradually her wake time was getting earlier and earlier till last night when she went from 10:30 :D
So hooray!!! Fingers are crossed that she continues this whole sleeping thing, she even had 2 two hour naps today :O
