Fork vs. Child...

Even getting a passport photo deserves a whinge!

Ever have one of those days where you would rather plunge the fork sitting on your table into your ears than hear your youngest child whine again?! No? Come to my house and you will be beggin for said fork within two minutes I promise!!!
I honestly, adore the spunk Makenzie has, she has a real fire and get up and go that the other kids never had but the down side is she is the world's biggest whinger... only when others can't see or hear her though!!! Doesn't help that I have been battling a cold all week, I am snowed under with washing and the chooks (As in the birds not the people! LOL) next door have shared their mice with us... can life get much more tiresome?! Meh, probably I know but I want to vent all the same! LOL
Anyways, in other news... things are moving along well for our trip, 3 out of 5 passports have arrived, Makenzie is being processed and mine will be too... once I find my passport photos... (Where is that hairpulling smily when I need it?! LOL) I had it stuck to a peice of paper and the morning we were going to the post office to put in mine and Makenzie's forms (We had to do ours later than the other because I had no marriage certificate and Kenz's photo was not right) I pulled them off the peice of paper and put them with the form and we walked out of the house 5 minutes later.... how in 5 minutes can Miss M, otherwise known as Little Houdini, make me dissapear?! I have no idea and I still haven't found the photos so looks like yet another trip to Fiona's to get her to sign the backups (Will email you about it Fiona ;) LOL) and then I am going straight to the post office to put it in and if I don't suceed that time then I am not going away! LOLJessie on the day before her birthday when ALL the family came over for afternoon tea...
Like everything in our house there is always a story to tell, and this one is yet another Steve doesn't know how to communicate story... Steve's mum had said the last time we went down there before Jessie's birthday that she would pop over some time on the Sunday before Jessie's birthday to see her. Cool, not a problem. My pop also called and asked when a good time to visit was so I told him Sunday afternoon, sweet, get it all over in one day :) Steve's mum rang to sort a time ans Steve asked when pop was coming over... I presumed so he could work around that so there wasn't a huge gathering at once and Jessie could spend time with each visitor... turns out that I presumed wrong! He organised for his mum and her partner and his sister and her partner to come at the same time as pop so rather than having it all spred out but on the one day we had it all in two hours! Only trouble with that was, he forgot to mention this fact till the day of so I had not orgnaised an afternoon tea or anything, I had planned on winging it with biscuits and things.... luckily mum came to the rescue and grab a whole pile of stuff for us to do in the oven and the day was saved but it did leave me with a bald patch in a couple of spots I think ;)
When bad things happen to good MnM's!!!

UUMM, I think someone was lying about not melting in your hand!!!

Think that is all for today, I should go get dinner started before I embed the fork in the ear ;)
