We are home :D
Will have pics of Easter later today but just a quick one to say hi :P We got home about an hour and a half ago and Makenzie has been asleep since we got in so I really should be sleeping too but instead I am doing so computer work, working through the pile of photos from Lil's wedding still mostly.
Anyways, it was a pretty good week, Makenzie apparently felt like sleep was so overrated and pushed her wake up time earlier and earlier each day ending with Easter Sunday morning at 6:05am and then to make it even worse, we went to Lil and Gordon's for lunch (Which turned into Dinener! LOL) and she didn't have a nap so ended up falling asleep on me at 6:30 or so at night. All good fun! LOL
The morning of Easter we had to keep the kid's in the sound proof room at the house (A sitting room with sound proof glass on two walls where Kenzie and I spent our early mornings to let the rest of the house sleep) for longer than normal since they were all up by 6:45am! Steve even got up at 6:30, must have been excited to see what Easter Bunny bought him! LOL When Jessie, Hamish and Andree all got up at 6:45 the room started getting a bit full but we managed to keep them contained till 7:45 and then tey made a break for it. Easter Bunny enforced a 5 egg rule which translated into 9 eggs for Jessie, 6 for Hamish and 5 for Makenzie but He cut down compared to other years at least ;) He even bought a white chocolate casket for Andree, I think he heard me say I felt bad for her :P
Nayd on the other hand, went way OTT making chocolates, a huge basket for each of the kids and a box for Steve and I filled with all different flavours and colours of chocolates, white and brown, coconut, cookies and cream, mint.... it was crazy!!! She did a great job though and the kids thought her baskets were terrific.
The rest of the week was not bad, Steve and dad came down Friday night, we went to the beach on Thursday which I think I took photos of with the P&S and Saturday was a relaxed day at home... although it was discovered Makenzie had worms so a mid day "chocolate" snack was had by all :x
Not much else happened, we had a great day at Lil's with the family there, it seems like we are seeing them all so much at the moment, Christmas then Jessie's birthday, the wedding and Easter which compared to the every 6 or so months of past years it has been a real change AND I am actually starting to ..................
Bugger, Miss M is up and on the boob so will be back later, hopefully with photos :D
