Pins and Needles and the kindness of kids...

I have always know how kind and thoughtful my children are (Except to each other in school holiday but that is beside the point ;) ) but tonight my littlest sweetheart blew me away...

One of the worst side effect, for me, to being on Diamox is the pins and needles I get. It is crazy bad at times, I can't stand in the shower for the length it takes to wash yourself and your hair without getting pins and needles in my feet for at least 45 minutes afterwards. I can't sit with my feet curled under me (My favourite way to sit) or cross-legged as, again, after a very short time I get pins and needles. I often wake at night, after sleeping extra deep for an hour or so, with pins and needles in my hands, feet and face. It is not fun at all to say the least.

Quite often I will ask one of the kids to tap my feet or rub them to help get rid of the pins and needles, although it doesn't eliminate them totally it does help reduce the pain a bit.

Tonight, I had been on the phone to mum for about 20 minutes, I went and sat outside since the kids were all being noisy and when I came in I had pins and needles in my feet and the arm I used to hold the phone. I was saying to Steve how ridiculous it was that even a short phone conversation (That is short with my mum :P ) I am getting them so bad.

As I was telling him this Makenzie started banging my foot and I thought she was just trying to get my attention until she said "Pineedles all better mum???"

AAAAWWWWW, what a sweety, I didn't think she had been listening and she had and knew what helped too!!! How blessed am I to have such thoughtful children?!

And as an update to the last post, I have a backdrop stand on it's way plus a cocoon like in the second picture :D
