Just another day around here :) Hamish is now offically 6! Time has gone so quick, it is crazy, seems like only yesterday i was starting this blog and he was just about to turn 2. Now he is a loving, full of attitude, grumpy, caring, contridictory 6 year old. He is a talker and a thinker, he is a drummer and a rugby player, he loves to tell jokes and loves to make people smile, he love to stir his sisters and uses any excuse to get out of cleaning his room. He is good and he is bad and I am so glad he is in our lives.
His "totally gross" party went off well, we ended up hearing from everyone bar 2 children (Maybe all the mums read my blog! LOL) and they were all suitably grossed out, the Nose pinata was a hit (Although Steve had to give it a helping hand to get the toys and lollies out! LOL) and the kitty litter cake made about half the kids want to eat the snake jelly instead! LOL
Now I am on my way to get the invites out for Makenzie's birthday, bit later than I like to send them, but I figure better later than never right?! LOL
In other news, WE HAVE A BLOCK!!! We met the agent at the block we wanted on Hamish's birthday (Monday) and were happy with eveything he told us and decided to put an offer in, it turned out he is the owner so it was accepted right away! So now we have lots to do to get going, got to get paperwork back to the bank, contact the builder and get that ball rolling and transfer the deposit. Thankfully, it is all going smoothly so far so it is all quite exciting!
Not much else to report today, no kids so invites will be finished and posted :D
