I thought I had finished this an posted it...apparently not! LOL Will be back with the rest sometime soon :) I thought that week was long and it still hasn't stopped! LOL
I have had the longest week in the history of my life! Give me brain surgery and recovery any day over the week I have had! LOL
So, last Tuesday my baby turned 3! It is so hard to believe how big she is getting, she is growing way too fast for my liking! We had a nice day, went to swimming lessons where she graduated to big kids classes so no more water time for me!!! Yay! We then had final inspection on the house, which started my long week, and ended at mum's house for dinner and cake. It was a good day and she was so happy with all her presents, she came and gave me a cuddle and said thank you after each parcel she opened :)
Wednesday, we get a call from our agent to tell us the buyers had a list (And I mean a LIST!) of things they wanted fixed for settlement. We went through the list and most were stupid piddly things like a light hanging funny in the lounge and the retic. not coming on (The dog had switched off the tap when he jumped the fence! LOL) but they also wanted us to fix the hot water temp control despite the fact we told our agent right at the beginning it was broken since we moved in and we would not fix it and they wanted the power points outside checked to make sure there were safe. We had no doubt they were safe so agreed to the piddly things but refused the hot water and power points.
On Thursday, after a long night of thinking and not sleeping I told Steve I had a bad feeling about renting from the buyers, if they were this picky now what would it be like trying to move out. We went over and spoke to mum and we all agreed we should just find a rental and be done with the house. So Thursday and Friday were spent packing.
Come Saturday and there is a knock at the door, it is the buyer. We had a chat, everything seemed all good and she left seeming happy. Next thing you know, we get an email from our agent telling us they want to delay settlement and are insisting we get everything fixed because they found out we are moving. I had steam coming out both ears, I was ropeable that she could be so two-faced! So, we worked our bums off Sunday and the house was cleared out. We moved in
