Hi all,
Been laying low for a while now so thought it is probably time I did an update! Not much to report really, still no progress on the brain side of things. I have been seeing my GP every two weeks and every time I go she changes meds or ups the dose but besides that no real change. Head is a pain most of the time, dizziness is bad the majority of time but once in a while I wake and everything has gone so I think "Yay, finally!" and then a half hour later it is back worse than before. Overall, it's very frustrating and I am well and truly over it.
Kids are all good, they have all just started Tee-Ball for the Summer, Hamish and Jessie had their first training sessions last week and Makenzie has her first session this Wednesday. The coach of the Mini's (Kenzie's team) has his work cut out for him though I reckon, after watching Hamish's training, the kids in his team are Years 1, 2 and 3 next year so range in age from 5 to 7/8ish and they were hard enough for the coach to control so 3 and 4 year olds should be fun! LOL The poor boy who is coaching is only about 15 and this is his first season coaching so nothing like being thrown in at the deep end!
In other kid related news, Hamish FINALLY lost his first tooth yesterday! He was so happy to see it out! We have had so much trouble getting him to brush his teeth over the last couple of months so "the tooth fairy" left him $2 and his tooth and told him the tooth was too dirty to take, guess who just came out with the sparkliest teeth I have ever seen on him?! LOL I am trying to upload a photo but my puter is not playing nice tonight :(
Steve is good, he applied for a job that was at a mine closer to home which meant he would be home every night but didn't get it so he is just plodding along up at Argyle for now :) He has also just gone to see our GP about his snoring so has to do a sleep study next time he is home. Hopefully, it uncovers something and we can get it fixed because he is the worst snorer ever, I swear if there was an Olympics of Snoring, my money would be on him bringing home the gold! LOL
House is coming along nicely, we have bricks, a skip bin, window frames and a portaloo so any day now walls will start going up :) Photos are on my house blog for those who want to see :)
Anyways, that is us for now, overall good and once the head behaves we will be great :D
Mel
