Your chance to win...

I told you all to watch this space and hope you all did...even though nothing much happened till now! hehe

So, as I mentioned in the post last month, I was selected through a Soup Project to be a PayPass Ambassador and one of 12 exclusive bloggers for this project. I have been waiting patiently to receive my information and przie pack in the post so today I can finally announce my competition and tell you a little more about PayPass.

First things first...

What is PayPass?
PayPass is a new way of using your credit card. Mastercards around Australia are being released with new technology to make low-value credit card transactions quicker, easier and safer.
With PayPass, rather than swiping or inserting your card you simply have to tap your card on the top of the card reader!

What? How is that safer?!This was my biggest fear when we first got our PayPass cards, I could see how it could be safer as you do not need to enter a PIN or sign when your purchase is under $100. After some research though, I found it is actually safer! Your card never leaves your hand when you are doing a PayPass transaction which means there is no chance of card skimming. You are the one who "taps" the card on the reader and even if it is tapped more than once the transaction only goes through once.
On top of that, if your card is stolen, Mastercard has  Zero Liability protection so if unauthorised transactions occur you are covered as long as you report the card as stolen (Obviously).

How is it easier?
Because you don't have to go through the swipe then selecting account then entering PIN number/sign routine the whole transaction is sped up. I have used PayPass at places like KFC and McDonalds and it makes the whole process heaps quicker. Our local Maccas is usually fairly quick but the first time I used PayPass there I was in shock how much quicker it actually was! When your a mum on the go like me, anything that can save me a few minutes is going to get a big thumbs up in my book! LOL

Where can I get more information?
To learn more about PayPass (or read it in a much more eloquent than I can put it! hehe) click on this link: PayPass Info at Commonwealth Bank

Now, onto the competition!
Like I mentioned in the last post to be eligible to win you must be a follower of this blog. The "Follower" button is on the left hand side.
Once you are a follower, reply to this post with a comment of 100 words or less telling me:

“What’s the ‘best thing since sliced bread’ in your life?”

Be as creative as you can, the more creative you are the better your chances of winning are!

There are 3 prizes up for grabs:

1st Prize: two (2) $50.00 Commonwealth Bank MasterCard Debit Cards and one (1) double La Premiere movie pass, valued at $75.00.

2nd Prize: One (1) $50.00 Commonwealth Bank MasterCard Debit Card and one (1) double La Premiere movie pass, valued at $75.00.

3rd Prize: One (1) $50.00 Commonwealth Bank MasterCard Debit Card

See, I told you there were great prizes huh! So, get writing, I can't wait to see the comments! This competiton is open until April 30th at 5pm (Western Australian Time), so you have plenty of time to get the creative juices flowing, and the Winners will be announced the next day on my blog :)

Hopefully I will be back in the next few days before Easter to do a proper update post but fornow the competition will have to do! LOL

Being a mum of 2 littlies means everything that makes life easier or saves me time could be considered as "the best thing since sliced bread". But today it's something totally different - today it's the couch! A rare chance to be reaquainted with an old friend, can't beat that...

Wow this sounds great, so convenient and a faster way to pay!!! I reckon the best thing since sliced bread is technology!!! Where would we all be today without it, I cannot remember what we all did before mobile phones, internet, digital tv and so on. I am so excited about the future of technology to see what else is in store for us!
Also I must add that my family are pretty close to being better than sliced bread with my wonderful sister being the crust! ♥

I am completely shallow and going to say the best thing since sliced bread in my life is my GHD hair straightener. Seriously, before i had one i used either cheap nasty ones which killed my hair or had to pay $50 each time i wanted a hairdresser to blowdry my hair. I never mastered the art of blowdrying my hair into anything but a boofy frizzy mess so it is nice to be able to have nice, normal hair, just like everyone else, everyday!

My wife! She does brilliantly all the things that I don't do well, like cook great meals, and give the kids the one on one time they need while I work. Way better than sliced bread.

I can amuse Jack with wiggles videos when waiting at medicare, I can play games when waiting at the school pick up, I can check my emails anywhere, I can waste hours trying to get the thrid freaking star on angry birds levels (ok, maybe that ones not brilliant) Love love it!

The best thing since sliced bread HAS to be Toilet paper, imagine (or not) where we'd be without it?
